Guys, I see you are not very impressed by the topic of the web project that I gave you( I wonder about what other issues on technology you would like to prepare this work...Please. comment on this post because your further work of the whole month depends on this little contribution)

ok, once again, i find AI topic very... mmm.. complicated indeed. A huge amount of knowledge and work is needed to make it interesting, otherwise the content will be superficial and amateur, what obviously can't serve as a moto of web project. So i want to take "food technology" issue.
ReplyDeleteЯ думаю, что энтузиазм не плещет из нас, как кровь из артерии, потому что в этом семестре и так нужно сделать кучу чего-то непонятного, что нынче называют проектами плюс мы всё-таки учим язык, а это на мой взгляд подразумевает скорее прямую, вербальную коммуникацию, а не гроссмейстерский уровень чтения текста сайта с экрана или как там будет осуществляться проверка? Может просто поучим язык?

ReplyDelete1. A lack of time and overloading by tasks is not a reason but just an occasion to do nothing - if there was much leisure time, the desire to work wouldn't appear - it's a popular wisdom.
2. The language includes 4 levels - a basis: reading, writing, listening, speaking. Once again, it's a basis in the language skills space(let's suppose that it's linear;). In the class you won't get the first two. The ability to write good articles and essays is a valuable achievement.

ReplyDeleteSometimes to make you speak in class is something beyond my power as you don't even know what to say...in course of this project you will learn some new data and then you will be able to share this information with us, don't you think it is communication? To speculate upon the topic all together, to find out the arguments for and against the issue?
Thank you Dima! You just hit the bull's eye! The whole idea of this project is to mend those holes in your knowledge of the language. And I really don't understand why you don't appreciate it(
ReplyDeleteOk, when in Rome, do as Romans do... As for speaking during class I always can say something, but usually I don't whant to unless I am obliged by the teacher. If you whant to be democratic why don't you let us choose? Some of us may work on projects while others will write tests and do exercises.
ReplyDeleteAs for writing in blog it takes a lot of time cause my spelling is really awful. It is boaring to check each word.
Stas, that is the point...if you had more time you could even improve your spelling by posting here, you see?! I thought I try to be democratic(( If you want to have a test so much I can give it to you, but I'm trying to involve you into something new and not so boring(
ReplyDeleteMy spelling is awful after 12 years of studying English for 15 hours per week and nothing can be done. My russian spelling is also poor although I know all grammer rules. It is just the way my brains work.

ReplyDeleteEA doesn't understand why people don't appriciate the opportunities they have. But for me it comes as no suprise till one fact isn't taken into consideration - they don't appriciate such benefits as 100% free high-quality education.
